Job summary

Belmark is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician II for the PM shift on Plant 6 to keep our printing and finishing lines running at peak performance. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on complex equipment, troubleshoot electrical and control systems, and support facility systems with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires extensive electro-mechanical experience, the ability to read schematics, and strong teamwork with production.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient reading and writing English.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with AC and DC circuits up to 480V three-phase power.

• 12 hour shifts, 3 days on, 4 days off rotation (NOT A SWING SHIFT)
• Occasional overtime as needed

Compensation

• Hourly rate based on experience, role level, and applicable shift differential that aligns with your expertise and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on printing and finishing equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control systems
• Maintain auxiliary equipment and facility systems
• Support general building maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operations
• Partner with production teams to minimize downtime

Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow both written and oral English communication.
• Possess excellent electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experienced in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Must be familiar with AC and DC circuits, low voltage through 480v three phase power.
• Office software and computer navigation skills.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Effective team collaboration and communication
• Ability to use hands for 100% of work time (e.g. wrenches, screw drivers, drills, etc.); and reach above shoulders for 25% of work time.
• Ability to: stand and walk for 75% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 25% of work time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds or less 30% of work time, up to 50 pounds or less 15% of work time and up to 75 pounds or less 15% of work time.
• Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or less, or 20 feet or more and the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.

Experience Requirements

• 8+ years electro-mechanical experience, or
• 4+ year’s experience along with an associate degree in electro-mechanical technology (or similar)
