We are hiring immediately for a Facilities Maintenance Technician at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas, TX. The position is full-time, 1st shift (7am to 3:30pm, M-F), with a pay range of $22.00 to $35.00 per hour.

Job Details

• Location: Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231
• Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available
• Salary: $22.00 to $35.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance duties and repairs as assigned.
• Assist in minor and routine repairs decision-making.
• Maintain equipment; perform minor repairs using power and hand tools.
• Undertake unskilled or semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work, lamp changing, and drywall maintenance.
• Maintain logs, perform rounds, complete work orders, tests, and inspections.
• Read, understand, and communicate detailed instructions verbally and in writing.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of general building maintenance experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks using a work order system.
• Experience with drywall and flooring repairs.
• Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and generator monitoring systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
