Facilities Maintenance Technician - Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital - 1st Shift

Salary: $26-$35 per hour

Job Summary

This position involves performing basic maintenance functions. It is a 1st shift role, from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance duties and repairs as assigned.
• Assist in minor and routine repair decisions.
• Maintain equipment and perform minor repairs using power and hand tools.
• Undertake unskilled or semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work, lamp changing, and drywall maintenance.
• Maintain logs, perform rounds, complete work orders, tests, and inspections.
• Read, understand, and communicate detailed instructions verbally and in writing.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of general building maintenance experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with work order systems for follow-up.
• Experience with drywall and flooring.
• Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Generator monitoring and remote notification system experience.
• Ability to respond to generator alerts via text.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
