These are critical positions and direct hire opportunities for selected candidates. Pay will be based on experience. Bright Innovation Labs is a privately owned contract manufacturing company. Safety is our top priority. You will work in our 225,000+ square foot facilities, which include research, production, and warehouse areas designed for high-volume capacity, efficiency, and quality. Our manufacturing capabilities include over 16 filling lines, including 7 liquid, 5 alcohol, a hot pour with cooling tunnel, and 3 tube filling lines.

Essential Functions

  • Execute assignments accurately and timely to minimize downtime and maximize quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Maintain equipment in safe operating condition.
  • Translate OEM materials into meaningful standards for optimal results.
  • Repair breakdowns and perform operating adjustments as needed.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Complete all related duties as assigned.
  • Manage equipment, parts, and supplies inventories using the CMMS system.
  • Participate in safety, GMP, SOP, and other training sessions.
  • Coordinate with production team during line changeovers and adjustments.
  • Adhere to GMP, SOP, safety procedures, including LOTO protocols.
  • Support improvement projects as assigned by leadership.
  • Use precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Remove defective parts using hand and power tools.
  • Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and needs to maintain team continuity.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Take ownership of work quality and performance.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Care for and maintain hand and power tools and equipment.
  • Demonstrate creativity and teamwork.
  • Ensure safe use of tools and equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience maintaining fillers or similar automation.
  • 2 years of experience with high-speed production lines.
  • Knowledge of machines, tools, their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to isolate and repair equipment faults.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and diagrams.
  • Basic computer and mathematical skills.
  • Experience with Norden, Zalkin, or Kapsall equipment.

A Day in the Life of a Production/Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Technicians ensure production equipment operates optimally. They handle equipment installation, fabrication, and maintenance, applying their mechanical, electrical, and computer skills to perform jobs accurately the first time. As part of our team, you'll contribute to our success in product filling and distribution, working independently or under supervision to meet client expectations.
