Job summary

Conagra Brands in Kent, Washington seeks a Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and performance of production equipment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Shift: 5:30 AM-2:00 PM, hourly rate $35.00.

You will work collaboratively with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment performance, and maintain a safe and efficient facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify root causes.
• Repair or replace defective equipment components to restore functionality.
• Support installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
• Partner with production teams to respond quickly to equipment issues.
• Follow all safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and maintenance processes.

You will work collaboratively with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment performance, and maintain a safe and efficient facility.

Physical Requirements

Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include: Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. Performing consistent repetitive tasks. Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
