Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a maintenance technician at the Marshall, Missouri facility. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing of plant equipment to ensure continuous production.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of mechanic experience, vocational training in machine maintenance, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds. On-site welding and electrical work are common, with potential for extended shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years progressive mechanic experience in manufacturing or production.
• Vocational tech training in machine maintenance.
• Carry and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Read and write English for production/quality documents.
• Basic math: add/subtract/multiply/divide, fractions, percentages.
• Familiar with basic shop equipment: welder, plasma cutter, torch, hand tools.
• Electrical experience in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Report to Maintenance Supervisor on site in Marshall, MO.
• Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair and test plant equipment.
• Keep mechanical equipment in good order.
• Inspect machines to locate problems and adjust as needed.
• Use manuals and diagrams to troubleshoot equipment.
• Use hand/power tools for maintenance tasks.
• Perform electrical and pneumatic work on production machines.
• Welding, electrical and fabrication experience.
• May work seven days a week with extended shifts.

Position Responsibilities

• You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor on site at the Marshall, MO facility
• Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, and test parts/components on plant & production equipment
• Keep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order
• You will inspect machines and equipment to locate problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure production operation
• Use manuals, repair manuals, parts manuals, parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant and production equipment
• Use hand and power tools to remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, and test parts/equipment on plant and production equipment
• Perform electrical and pneumatic work on production machines
• Welding, electrical and fabrication experience
• You may work seven days a week and extended shift schedules Position
