Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to repair and maintain machinery and electrical equipment at our onsite Kentucky facility. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, read schematics, disassemble/repair parts and maintain/complete work orders while complying with safety standards.

Ideal candidates have experience with motors, controls, and basic welding, and are willing to advance through training and 6S initiatives, supporting a team-focused environment with strong

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain a wide variety of machine tools, attachments and auxiliaries.
• Diagnose, disassemble, repair or replace parts; reassemble and align.
• Install and maintain motors, power and light circuits, starters and circuit breakers; diagnose electrical circuits.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and control systems.
• Maintain and log maintenance activities in the maintenance system.

Work Model

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Purpose of Position:

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment using testing instruments, hand and power tools and precision-measuring instruments. Installs functional and structural parts in devices or equipment. Performs preventative maintenance on equipment. As needed, repair and/or communicate issues. Maintain/issue and complete work orders, receive and make calls to outside suppliers of both replacement parts and technical services.

Position Description:

• Diversified work to include installation, maintenance, and repair on a wide variety of machine tools, attachments and auxiliaries.


• Diagnose, disassemble, repair or replace parts, reassemble, align and adjust.


• Make parts (replacement) such as small shafts, pins, bushings, etc.


• Simple cutting and welding.


• Perform necessary work including analytical troubleshooting and complex maintenance functions.


• Install and maintain a variety of electrical equipment such as motors, power and light circuits, starters and circuit breakers, diagnose electrical circuits, including solid state controls.


• Diagnose and repair computer equipped controllers for manufacturing equipment.


• Required to read electrical schematics.


• May also make minor building repairs.


• Must be able to use shop mathematics, charts, tables and handbook formulas.


• Must be able to work from complex drawings, wiring diagrams and sketches.


• Use a wide variety of measuring instruments with a prior knowledge of the operation of machine tools, methods, and materials.


• Assist and instruct lower classification machine repair or apprentices as required.


• Operate maintenance system to log maintenance activities.


• Complete all relevant training provided by Industrial Powertrain Solutions.


• Maintain safe and clean work area.


• Must be willing to advance through continued training and education.


• Willingness to promote and adhere to the 6s initiatives.


• Promote team concept and train new employees.


• Adhere to all safety procedures.


• All job duties of a Maintenance Tech I as required


• Perform any other related duties as directed, including.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, move, manipulate up to 35 lbs.


• Must be comfortable with heights


• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.


• Must pass PIE requirements to operate equipment
