Regal Rexnord is seeking Maintenance Technicians in Auburn, AL, on 1st and 2nd shifts. You will repair and maintain production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot using CNC/PLC controls.

The role requires cross-functional training in mechanical and electrical trades and strict adherence to safety procedures. This onsite position offers comprehensive benefits and the opportunity to support a large global manufacturer of motion and control solutions.

Qualifications

• Post high school with emphasis on industrial trades, mechanical and electrical.
• 3 years as industrial mechanical / electrical maintenance.
• Lift equipment and analytical test equipment experience.
• Precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, tape measures.
• Computers – CNC and PLC.
• High school math and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production machinery throughout the facility.
• Perform facility (structural) maintenance and repairs.
• Execute and close work orders promptly.
• Keep equipment history, PM schedules, downtime logs.
• Submit reports as required by management.
• Adhere to safety procedures: lock out / tag out, fall prevention, lift equipment safety, confined space.
• Housekeeping duties as required.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers.

Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Overview

The Couplings Division of the Industrial Powertrain Solutions Segment is seeking Maintenance Technicians in Auburn, AL, with openings on both 1st and 2nd shift. The ideal candidate repairs and maintains machinery and production equipment, installs functional and structural parts within the facility. Installs, removes and performs preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery. The employee troubleshoots, tests, lubricates, and cleans as required. The employee operates a wide variety of power, pneumatic and hand tools as well precision measuring devices and test equipment. The employee is trained cross functional in both mechanical and electrical trades.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining production machinery throughout the facility
• Responsible for all facility (structural) maintenance and repairs
• Responsible for executing and closing work orders in a timely manner
• Accurate record keeping – equipment history, PM schedules, down time logs
• Any reports as required by management
• Comply with any and all safety procedures ie: lock out / tag out, fall prevention, lift equipment safety and confined space entry.
• Housekeeping duties as required
• Work in a constant state of alertness
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Work cooperative with co-workers
