Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a fully onsite maintenance technician in Morehead, KY. The role requires advanced troubleshooting and repair skills on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with guidance for electrical controls.

You will perform preventive maintenance, install components, and maintain records in the CMMS. Candidates should have an associate degree in a technical field, be able to read schematics, and be willing to work off-shifts.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
• Willingness to work off-shifts and weekends as needed.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with support areas to resolve issues.

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Summary

Fully qualified maintenance technician with advanced troubleshooting and repair skills on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance activities.

Independently complete mechanical repairs, modifications, and component replacements.

Independently troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, devices, and controls under the guidance of Tech III personnel.

Assist in installation of electrical components, machine wiring, sensors, and controls under the leadership of senior maintenance and engineering staff.

Maintain equipment records and complete work orders utilizing computerized maintenance management systems.

Support equipment installations, upgrades, and improvement projects.

Assist with training and development of Tech I personnel.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Responsible for maintaining quality through adherence to specified programs, procedures and requirements.

Attend and successfully complete training sessions provided by the Company and/or vendors.

• Collaborate with support areas to resolve issues and improve facility operations.

• Foster a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Associate degree in a technical field required. Maintenance related degree preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting required.

Mechanical and/or Electrical aptitude testing is required.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics and troubleshoot common industrial electrical systems.

Willingness to work off-shifts and weekends as needed.

• Able to work independently and as part of the team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
• Ability to lift, move, and manipulate items weighing up to 55 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics Technology, or Electrical Engineering.

Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, drives, motors, and sensors.

Experience with CNC equipment including Okuma, Haas, and Doosan.

Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

Demonstrated initiative in leading maintenance improvements and training others.

Experience in TPM or reliability-centered maintenance systems and programs.

Highly self-sufficient and motivated to solve problems, address root causes effectively, and drive improvement across multiple areas.

Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
