EFP, LLC in Decatur, Alabama is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems, read blueprints, and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.

The role requires a high school diploma, a 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience, and hands-on experience with PLCs, NFPA 70E, and automated conveyors. We offer competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing 3-phase and 24V DC systems up to 480V.
• Experience with automation, conveyors and AI systems; NFPA 70E knowledge.

Responsabilités

MULTI-CRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The Multi Craft Maintenance Mechanic is a critical part of our manufacturing technical team. Technicians must be electrically and mechanically inclined and have a background working in an industrial manufacturing facility.

Job responsibilities include:

• Install and maintain equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on production equipment
• Wire machines
• Troubleshoot and identify problems; offer logical solutions
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Use appropriate tools and diagnostic devices to service and install electrical systems
• Repair and replace plant equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and systems
• Inspect parts to ensure safe production
• Any other tasks assigned by supervision

This position requires a strong electrical and mechanical background with experience in pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic and steam systems.

Additional requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-year technical degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Experienced troubleshooting and repair of 3 phase and single phase AC up to 480v and 24v DC
• Experienced in PLC controls
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70E
• Experience working with automation, conveyors and artificial intelligence
• Working knowledge of OSHA and general maintenance procedures
• Experience with Arc Flash requirements
• Ability to read, write, and speak English language preferred
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to use hands and fingers to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 75 pounds

HOURS:

1st Shift: Normal work hours are 7am - 2:30pm. Overtime is required as needed.
