thyssenkrupp Materials, LLC is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment in a safety‑sensitive environment in Washington. You will also coordinate with services, supervise contractors, and support health and Lean initiatives.

The role requires 3–5 years in an industrial setting, a technical degree or certificate, and strong blueprints reading and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in industrial maintenance.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• College degree or technical certificate required.
• Safety sensitive role; adherence to safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical problems and perform timely repairs.
• Establish appropriate preventive maintenance frequency and perform it.
• Perform facility/building maintenance and minor repairs and keep work area clean and safe.
• Dismantle defective equipment and install repaired or new components.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs.
• Coordinate and make recommendations on contracts and services.
• Supervise outside contractors for mechanical and electrical work.
• Support health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives.
