ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. in Bolingbrook, IL seeks a Maintenance Technician II on 1st shift to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.

You will support coil processing lines, including slitters, winding, packaging, and related material handling systems, while performing preventive maintenance to maximize reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with coil processing equipment (slitters/packaging) preferred.
• Knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Forklift operating experience.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production equipment.
• Support coil processing operations and maintain coil slitters, packaging lines, traverse winders, and material handling systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability; identify potential failures and take corrective actions.
• Dismantle and replace defective machinery; maintain records.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and support lean initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
