Regal Rexnord in Auburn, AL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain production equipment and perform preventive maintenance. You will troubleshoot, test, lubricate, and operate a range of tools while supporting electrical and mechanical trades.

Responsibilities include executing work orders, maintaining equipment history and downtime logs, and upholding safety procedures in a loud manufacturing environment. This is a fully onsite role requiring reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Post-high-school education with emphasis on industrial trades, mechanical and electrical.
• Experience in industrial mechanical/electrical maintenance and fault finding.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools and basic math/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production machinery across the facility.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment and structures.
• Close work orders in a timely manner with accurate records.
• Record equipment history, PM schedules, and downtime logs.
• Prepare reports as required by management.
• Follow safety procedures including lock out/tag out and confined space rules.
• Maintain good housekeeping and cooperate with coworkers.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Work Model

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Overview

The Couplings Division of the Industrial Powertrain Solutions Segment is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Auburn, AL. The ideal candidate repairs and maintains machinery and production equipment, installs functional and structural parts within the facility. Installs, removes and performs preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery. The employee troubleshoots, tests, lubricates, and cleans as required. The employee operates a wide variety of power, pneumatic and hand tools as well precision measuring devices and test equipment. The employee is trained cross functional in both mechanical and electrical trades.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining production machinery throughout the facility
• Responsible for all facility (structural) maintenance and repairs
• Responsible for executing and closing work orders in a timely manner
• Accurate record keeping – equipment history, PM schedules, down time logs
• Any reports as required by management
• Comply with any and all safety procedures ie: lock out / tag out, fall prevention, lift equipment safety and confined space entry.
• Housekeeping duties as required
• Work in a constant state of alertness
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Work cooperative with co-workers

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Post high school with emphasis on industrial trades, mechanical and electrical 3 years as industrial mechanical / electrical maintenance
• Lift equipment and analytical test equipment experience
• Precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, tape measures
• Computers – CNC and PLC
• High school math and communication skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Industrial electrical and mechanical skills
• Wide variety of hand, power and pneumatic tools
• Ability to read and interpret PNID drawings
