Job summary

Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Machine Operator to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment while ensuring precision, quality, and safety in production processes. In this role, you will set up and run machine tools, perform inspections, and monitor production outputs to meet tight tolerances and specifications. You will play a key role in maintaining equipment, identifying issues, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machine tools such as CNC lathes, machining centers, drill presses, grinders, punch presses, or similar equipment
  • Set up equipment and perform minor repairs, adjustments, and calibrations as required
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and tolerances
  • Monitor feeds, speeds, and machining conditions to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Detect and report defective materials or abnormal machine conditions
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and upkeep
  • Dispose of scrap and waste materials in compliance with company and environmental standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and follow all safety procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to operate and maintain machine tools and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings with minimal supervision
  • Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measurement techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high precision standards
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks within time limits
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Associates degree or diploma in Machine Technology or related field
  • Experience with CNC equipment and basic NC programming
  • Knowledge of trigonometry and advanced measurement techniques
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or machining environment
  • Experience maintaining tight tolerances

Expected Base Salary Range

$37,440-$43,950
