Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st and 2nd shifts in Reading, PA. This permanent onsite role involves maintaining and repairing production equipment, with pay in the $24–$27/hour range and overtime availability.

This position emphasizes preventive maintenance, precise diagnostics, and safe operation of conveyors, motors, and gearboxes to support consistent production output.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues using hand/power tools and testing instruments.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and equipment installation.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, move, install, and repair machinery and equipment used in production.
• Examine machinery to identify malfunctions and determine repair actions.
• Use hand/power tools to diagnose and repair equipment.
