Job summary

Crown, a Revance portfolio company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician at the Johnson City, TN manufacturing plant on a 2-2-3 12-hour shift (7PM–7AM). The role requires safety, self-motivation, and the ability to meet deadlines while supporting our clients and Crown’s success.

You will troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs, work with HVAC controls and building automation, and handle hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical systems and instrument loops.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year certificate from a technical college or vocational school preferred.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret SOPs, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Basic shop math skills and ability to use Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and modify PLCs and VFDs.
• Experience with HVAC controls and building automation systems.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical control systems and instrument loops.
• Basic knowledge of instrument calibrations and Metrology practices.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical failure of production machines and facilities equipment.
• Knowledge of operation of manufacturing/packaging machinery and experience with installation of new and used equipment.
• 3+ years of strong electrical background in troubleshooting motor controls.
• Metal fabrication and welding experience preferred.
• Work with engineering drawings, electrical schematics, engineering flow diagrams, basic shop math, and machine shop skills.
• Knowledge of cGMP practices.
