Job summary

Revance Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 12-hour shifts at the Johnson City, Tennessee manufacturing plant.

You will troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and electrical/mechanical failures while supporting HVAC controls, building automation, and instrument calibration in a cGMP environment. The role requires a strong electrical background, ability to read schematics, and experience with manufacturing equipment; two-year technical training is preferred and a high school diploma is

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year technical college certificate preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read SOPs, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
• Basic shop math skills and computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong problem-solving and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and modify PLCs and VFDs.
• Work with HVAC controls and building automation systems.
• Work with hydraulic/pneumatic systems and electrical control systems.
• Calibrate instruments and perform metrology tasks.
• Repair electrical or mechanical failures on production machines and facilities.
• Review engineering drawings and electrical schematics; use basic shop math.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician 12 hour shifts 2-2-3. must be highly motivated, able to work safely in accordance with OSHA standards, effective as both an independent self-starter and when working cooperatively with others. Must be able to plan and execute work to meet crucial deadlines, efficiently serving our clients and contributing to the success of Crown.

Reporting to

• Maintenance Manager
• Location: Johnson City, TN Manufacturing Plant
• Schedule: 2-2-3 12 hour Shifts 7AM-7PM

Responsibilities/Essential Duties

• Troubleshoot and modify Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
• Experience with HVAC controls and building automation systems
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical control systems and instrument loops
• Basic knowledge of instrument calibrations and Metrology practices
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical failure of production machines and facilities equipment
• Knowledge of operation of manufacturing/packaging machinery and experience with installation of new and used equipment
• 3+ years of strong electrical background in troubleshooting motor controls
• Metal fabrication and welding experience preferred
• Work with engineering drawings, electrical schematics, engineering flow diagrams, basic shop math, and machine shop skills
• Knowledge of cGMP practices

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Two-year certificate from a technical college or vocational school preferred
• Experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry preferred
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret SOPSs, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
• Basic shop math skills - whether calculating averages for a control chart, making machine adjustments, or reading prints
• Ability to solve practical problems
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Documentation, ADP, and ability to use internet tools.
