Job summary

Crown is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Johnson City, TN manufacturing plant. The role involves 12-hour shifts (7 PM–7 AM) on a 2-2-3 rotation and requires the ability to work safely, plan and meet deadlines, and cooperatively support production and engineering teams.

You will troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs, work with HVAC controls, hydraulics and electrical systems, read schematics, and perform maintenance on packaging equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls preferred.
• Familiar with HVAC controls and building automation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and modify PLCs and VFDs.
• Work with HVAC controls and building automation systems.
• Familiar with hydraulic/pneumatic systems and electrical control systems.
• Calibrate instruments and understand metrology basics.
• Repair electrical or mechanical failures on machines and facilities.
• Operate and install equipment; read engineering diagrams and shop math.
• Utilize cGMP practices and document work as required.
