Job summary

CORMETECH, Inc. in Durham, NC seeks a dedicated Maintenance Technician to sustain production and facility systems on a 12-hour shift schedule. You will perform repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Proficient with MS Excel/Word to enter data and generate reports.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willing to learn basic electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment.
• Repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect and maintain steam, chillers, water, air, and gas lines.
• Assist in preventive maintenance per checklists and procedures.
• Work with managers and operators to address maintenance concerns.
• Maintain safety around ammonia, high voltage and fumes.
