Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Tech-In-Training to repair and upkeep equipment and facilities. This role starts with an 8-hour day shift during training and progresses to a 12-hour rotating shift on the D Team.

Trainees complete a 60-week training program with rigorous hands-on tasks and safety standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification in industrial maintenance is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade School Certification in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Experience with equipment troubleshooting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Locate and diagnose failures, replace defective components, and troubleshoot using diagrams and prints.
• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including conveyors and production machines.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical energy systems and controls as needed.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain logs and safety practices.
