Job description

This role will provide a $2,500 Sign-on bonus. We are currently hiring for a 12-hour Night Shift schedule.

The Maintenance Technicians are multi-skilled system experts in their assigned areas, highly functional in multiple disciplines. They must ensure efficiency, operational conformance, product quality, and continuous improvement. Technicians function as members of a maintenance team responsible for maintaining assets to a baseline state, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of machinery in their area. Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills are essential to support site objectives.

What are we looking for?

• Industrial Maintenance, Journeyman, or vocational schooling preferred; experience with mechanical-electrical skills required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Lifting 25 lbs.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel and Word.

Knowledge / Experience

• Ability to learn new skills and develop in role with additional responsibilities.
• Experience with machine shop tools, fabrication, welding, plumbing, or pipefitting is a bonus.
• Strong understanding of factory processes, analytical, mechanical, and electrical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to transfer knowledge and train others.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel to other sites for equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks within a line or area efficiently and safely.
• Operate equipment safely and perform routine repairs and troubleshooting.
• Support equipment setup, changeover, and operator training in Autonomous Maintenance activities.
• Understand maintenance scheduling, planning, and inventory management.
• Respond to reactive maintenance calls and complete work orders.
• Communicate effectively with operators, peers, and management.
• Adhere to safety and quality policies, including GMP, LOTO, and others.
• Operate forklifts and basic computer systems for work order documentation.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and P&ID diagrams.
• Show ownership, organization, and teamwork in daily tasks.
