Job summary

Wilden Pump & Engineering LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maximize facility and equipment uptime by completing proactive work orders and diagnosing faults across plant utilities and machinery. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to execute daily orders while driving efficiency and EH&S compliance.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED, an associate degree preferred, and at least 4 years of related facilities experience with forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Proficient in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems, as well as welding, shop machinery, and pneumatic/hand tools.
• Proficient in general maintenance work such as patching, painting, framing, and concrete repair.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions to complete routine procedures and/or operate standard equipment.
• Ability to use a computer and digital CMMS to log work and track parts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members, internal customers, external vendors and suppliers.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to troubleshoot unfamiliar equipment and develop solutions independently when manuals and instructions are unavailable.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail, consistently meeting work order requirements and daily goals safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive maintenance and repairs on air compressors, dryers, forklifts, all Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment, and pallet jacks.
• Assist with installation of new equipment by preparing the site utilities, clearing the space, handling of equipment into final locations, and making final utility terminations.
• Diagnose and perform the necessary mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic repairs on production and non-production equipment.
• Support general building maintenance and renovations, such as drywall installation, framing, painting, and office furniture relocation.
• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment according to manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Install and maintain utility lines, including air, water, gas, and electrical systems.
• Complete and document CMMS work orders accurately while upholding all safety and quality standards.
• Analyze departmental KPIs to recommend data-driven improvements to equipment and workflows.
• Adheres strictly to the Company's Safety Program, including NFPA 70E Arc Flash safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and appropriate safety protocols.
• Must be knowledgeable of and comply with the Company's policies and procedures.
• Maintain attendance as required by company policies.
• Work overtime as required.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

The Maintenance Technician ensures maximum facility and equipment uptime by completing proactive work orders and by diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing faults on plant utilities and machinery. Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, this role executes daily work orders while continuously driving departmental efficiency and strict EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) compliance.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Associate degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or maintenance engineering technology preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years related on-the-job facilities experience required.

• Forklift experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Work Environment: The environment is both office and manufacturing. The manufacturing environment is subject to moderate changes in temperature, and the employee will be exposed to typical hazards of noise, flying debris, and overhead hazards requiring the use of proper PPD (Personal Protective Equipment).

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Hourly Rate: $27.00 - $32.00 USD

This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
