PSG, a Dover company in California, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maximize uptime by performing preventive maintenance and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing faults on plant utilities and equipment.
You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor, execute daily work orders, and drive safety and efficiency while adhering to EH&S policies. The role requires 4+ years in facilities maintenance and a high school diploma, with forklift experience preferred.
The Maintenance Technician ensures maximum facility and equipment uptime by completing proactive work orders and by diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing faults on plant utilities and machinery. Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, this role executes daily work orders while continuously driving departmental efficiency and strict EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) compliance.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to use hands regularly to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and equipment. The employee is required to both see and hear. The employee must be able to walk, climb, sit and stand. The employee occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs., and occasionally kneels and bends.
The environment is both office and manufacturing. The manufacturing environment is subject to moderate changes in temperature, and the employee will be exposed to typical hazards of noise, flying debris, and overhead hazards requiring the use of proper PPD (Personal Protective Equipment).
