Description: Our client is currently seeking a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN in NJ.

• Electrical / Mechanical experience
• Vocation training preferred
• $36 dollars per hour
• Must be open to Shift work

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of our electrical systems and equipment, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and wiring to identify potential problems and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions, utilizing various test equipment like voltmeters, ammeters, and multimeters.
• Repair and replace faulty electrical components, wiring, and fixtures.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in established schedules.
• Install new electrical equipment and systems according to blueprints and specifications.
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electrical technology or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Journeyman electrician license and valid state safety certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
