Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support two Akron, OH communities, The Ridge at Merriam Valley and The Bend. The role involves hands-on repair work, preventative maintenance, and ensuring units are move-in ready with quality checks.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of apartment or facilities maintenance experience.
• General knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, drywall and maintenance tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and work orders promptly.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall and maintenance issues.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in with repairs and inspections.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems to prevent breakdowns.
• Keep common areas and amenities safe, clean and well‑maintained.
