Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is $31.35.

Essential Functions

1. Responsible for the completion of all maintenance requests assigned
2. Maintain equipment and systems for maximum productivity levels
3. Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and services
4. Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors
5. Support personal and plant safety by carrying out assigned safety work orders and identifying potential hazards
6. Identify any equipment issues and bring to supervisors attention
7. Identify potential equipment or capital improvements
8. Support the plant environmental goals through PM’s and inspections
9. Assist with the preventative maintenance schedule and assign work
10. Responsible for general housekeeping of maintenance shop area and parts storage area
11. Be available to provide project assistance with design, quotes, contractor directions and maintenance support
12. Contribute input in the development of maintenance budgets and control spending to the plan
13. Awareness of tracking and improving on key asset care and reliability metrics

Safety Responsibilities

1. Obey all plant safety rules and regulations
2. Complete all required safety training and pro-metrics
3. Report all unsafe conditions
4. Wear all P.P.E. in areas where required
5. Support and promote safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company policies and compliance requirements
