Job summary

HomeServe USA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and install minor HVAC parts and appliances. You will ensure equipment is operational and follow billing procedures while delivering strong customer service. Development opportunities may include assisting based on company needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • EPA certification or completion of accredited HVAC school desirable.
  • EPA certification with 1–3 years’ HVAC or appliance service experience required or completion of accredited HVAC technical school.

  • Maintain good housekeeping, including maintenance of tools and equipment, and maintain required truck stock.

Position Overview

Under general supervision, performs preventive maintenance and installs minor/routine parts on all types of HVAC equipment. Install HVAC equipment and other appliances as needed. Completes preventive maintenance, including cleans. At the sole discretion of the Company, Maintenance Technicians may be assigned the work of an assistant as a developmental and/or training opportunity.

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • HVAC certification and/or training from an accredited technical school are desirable or
  • EPA certification required with a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in HVAC or appliance service work, or
  • Completion of an accredited HVAC technical school.
