Job summary

Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa in the North Georgia mountains seeks a Maintenance Technician to help keep our resort facilities safe, clean, and fully operational.

You’ll perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, assist with HVAC, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and basic electrical work, and maintain logs. A hands-on, safety‑minded teammate who communicates well will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Minimum maintenance or facilities experience.
• Knowledge of basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues quickly and efficiently.
• Complete general repairs including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and basic electrical work.
• Assist with HVAC and mechanical system upkeep.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Respond to maintenance requests from departments and guests.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.
• Support a safe environment for guests and team members.

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll help maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of our resort facilities.

• Positive attitude and team-first mindset
• Good communication skills
• Valid driver’s license required
