Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Use service request system for scheduling and prioritizing repairs with guidance from supervisors.
• Perform repairs and maintenance in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and groundskeeping.
• Monitor completion of service requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Follow company policies, implement preventive maintenance, and document activities.
• Exercise independent judgment under stress, meet deadlines, and reprioritize as needed.
• Coordinate with the team on move-in/move-out inspections and property readiness.
• Identify and report hazards, assist with repairs, and respond to resident requests promptly.
• Manage inventory and supplies, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• 6 months to 1 year of maintenance experience
• Knowledge of building maintenance, preventive programs, and appliance repair
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently
• Good time management and a positive attitude
• Own hand tools and a valid driver’s license

Preferred:

• Experience with HVAC, certifications such as EPA, CPO, or ability to obtain them

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role involves indoor and outdoor work, with conditions including varying climates, noise, chemicals, and physical demands such as lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing, bending, and operating equipment. Travel may be required.
