We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Woodland, CA! This position supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities, including equipment in Greenhouses. Hours for this position are on 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday 2:30 PM - 11 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.
• Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
• Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment and/or as directed.
• Replace lighting and ballasts.
• Clean HVAC coils, change filters, and belts.
• Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary.
• Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
• Maintain compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
• Must complete all required safety training as scheduled.
• Comply with all policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Update work order status in real time using our CMMS system.
• Escalate problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner.
• Attend work and safety meetings as required.
• Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, HVAC systems, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Physically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, and operate a motor vehicle.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to read and write reports clearly and thoroughly.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and reaching overhead required.
• Must be able to climb a 30-foot ladder.
• Ability to read and understand a one-line/ladder diagram.
• Must be a Team Player.
• Reliable.
• Maintains a clean and safe workplace.
• Greenhouse maintenance experience a plus but not required.
• EPA Universal certification a plus but not required.
• Must be a safety-minded person.
• Able to work on roofs of buildings and safely perform overhead work while standing on a ladder.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Ability to detect emergency alarms-auditory and/or visual.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

50,000.00 – 80,000.00 USD per year. The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
