The role supports safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment and requires strong hands-on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues, perform repairs, installations, alignments, and assist with startups and scheduled maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with technical training.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Diagnose issues in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Inspect machinery and replace worn components.
• Assist with startups, shutdowns, and maintenance activities.

Job description

One of our manufacturing clients is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipments at their facility in Wisconsin Rapids, WI location.Pay Rate: $44/hr – $48/hourShift: 1st ShiftResponsibilities:Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and production equipment.Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls-related issues.Inspect machinery and equipment to identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components.Repair or replace motors, bearings, belts, chains, gears, pumps, valves, cylinders, sensors, and other components.Troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, controls, and industrial machinery.Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.Perform equipment installations, modifications, alignments, and adjustments as required.Assist with equipment startups, shutdowns, and scheduled maintenance activities.Respond to equipment breakdowns and production-related maintenance requests in a timely manner.Qualifications:High school diploma/GED or equivalent technical training.5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with either current apprenticeship enrollment or a Journeyman card.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.PLC troubleshooting experience.Experience with VFDs, motor controls, sensors, and industrial control systems.Welding and fabrication experience.
