Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a Fond du Lac, WI company. This direct hire role offers 1st or 2nd shift and hours from 5:00am to 3:30pm or 3:00pm to 11:00pm, with a pay range of $22.00–$24.00 per hour.

You will troubleshoot breakdowns on production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, operate trucks and cranes, and update work orders. Reading schematics and PLCs, HVAC systems, and automated lines are part of daily work, with welding experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Good mechanical ability and manual dexterity.
• Able to read and comprehend schematics and blueprints.
• Familiar with Programmable Logic Controllers.
• Familiar with Industrial HVAC Systems.
• Familiar with automated assembly lines and systems related to them.
• Proficient in diagnosing mechanical problems, dismantling mechanical equipment, securing correct parts, repairing and reassembling mechanical equipment, including pumps, conveyors, and gearboxes.
• Ability to weld preferred but not required.
