Nucor Corporation in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs on equipment. Starts around $80k with full benefits and a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, reading manuals and work orders, and servicing industrial saws, cranes, welders, CNC mills, and other tooling. Candidates should be self-driven and eager to learn from skilled technicians.

Qualifications

• One year industrial maintenance experience including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Basic knowledge of machining, welding, and equipment fabrication skills.
• Experience operating hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools, general fabrication tools, and various measuring devices including but not limited to tape measures, calipers and ohm meters.
• Ability to read and interpret reports, work instructions, schematics and blueprints.
• Must be self-driven with the ability to work with little to no supervision.
• Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and climb stairs and/or ladders occassionally.

• Monitor, maintain and document all preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Perform emergency fixes and repairs as needed.
• Open minded and willing to learn from experienced Techs.

Average starting pay $80k

Minimum Qualifications

• One year industrial maintenance experience including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• AC/DC Drive experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc...)
