Job summary

gpac is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician for a 24/7 dairy facility with advanced automation. You will support production, packaging, and utilities, ensuring safe and compliant operation through proactive preventive maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and experience with PLCs, VFDs, and sanitary systems. Night shifts require 6pm–6am availability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food/beverage preferred).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and automated packaging equipment.
• Experience maintaining pumps, conveyors, separators, and pasteurizers.
• Familiarity with instrumentation, calibration, and sanitary process systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and electrical drawings.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and wastewater systems a plus.
• Commitment to food safety, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Safety-conscious mindset with ability to work independently on 6pm-6am shift.
