The Caleb Group is seeking an energetic Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Connecticut. You will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities include turning over vacant units, inspecting the property, and participating in emergency on-call maintenance. Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus for serving our diverse community.
Seeking an energetic and responsible person to join our maintenance staff. Must be organized, self-motivated, dependable and have a proven track record of results. Must work well with existing property staff. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, will be responsible for the on-going maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds. Must be willing to work overtime and perform snow removal, as well as be available for on-call coverage.
This property has a large Spanish speaking population so being bilingual would be a plus.
Repairs to building appliances and fixtures; change locks; replace floor tile; unstop clogged drains; repair or replace plumbing fixtures; patch holes in walls; replace faucet washers; perform roof repairs; spot paint exteriors; paint building interiors; assist resident manager, operate lawn care equipment; clean unit interiors; perform miscellaneous carpentry repairs; perform minor masonry duties; maintain supplies and records.

Rate of pay will be based upon experience.
