Job summary

Nova-Tech Engineering, LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across our MinnWest Technology Campus in Willmar, MN. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems to ensure facilities operate smoothly.

You will maintain interior/exterior spaces, manage work orders, and support landscape and grounds. A valid driver’s license, basic carpentry, and ability to work independently are essential, with on-call rotation possible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance and repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic carpentry, construction, and general maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with HVAC, boilers, generators, and/or plumbing systems.
• Certifications preferred in HVAC, boilers, plumbing, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across campus facilities (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems).
• Maintain interior and exterior spaces, including restrooms, flooring, painting, and grounds.

Pay Range: $23 - $28/Hour

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across campus facilities (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems)
• Maintain interior and exterior spaces, including restrooms, flooring, painting, and grounds
• Operate andmaintainequipment, tools, and vehicles (e.g., mowers, tractors, power tools)
• Support landscaping, snow removal, and overall campus appearance
• Respond to and complete work orders, preventative maintenance, and urgent repair needs
• Assistwith facility operations such as room setups, building access, and material handling
• Maintain maintenance logs and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend maintenance support
• Follow all safety procedures andmaintaina safe working environment
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities

As a Maintenance Technician,you’llplay a hands-on role in keeping our campusoperatingat its best. From tackling repairs to performing both routine and specialized maintenance,you’llhelpcarefor our facilities and ensureeverything runs smoothly.

• Skilled in diagnosingand resolvingroutine maintenance issues
• Ability to collaborate with and coordinate outside contractors
• Certificationspreferredin HVAC, boilers, plumbing, or related fields
