Job summary

Affinity Management Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks across our properties in Palm Beach County. You will handle repairs, cleaning, and basic installations to keep facilities tidy and functional.

The ideal candidate has experience, good problem-solving skills, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have active driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of drywall and basic maintenance procedures.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Paint and perform cleaning activities.
• Repair walls, drywall, plumbing, and maintain drainage systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems such as ventilation and fire safety.
• Install appliances and equipment and update maintenance records daily.
• Collaborate with others during renovations and report issues to supervisor.

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional.

Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Job Duties

• Painting
• Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing, filling gaps in walls, minor plumbing and maintain drainage system.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
• Install appliances and equipment
• Updates maintenance records daily
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
• Report to a facilities or maintenance Supervisor for issues

Requirements

• Must have Active Driver's License and clean driving record
• Must know Dry Wall
• To work productively and effectively when faced with stressful situations and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to accept responsibility for work assignments and job duties, and to be held accountable for successful completion
• Follow directions, and to work with minimal supervision
• Apply appropriate safety procedures and equipment to protect Company and customer assets, including personal protective equipment (i.e., back belt, safety glasses)
• Work in non-airconditioned environment where applicable
• Must be able to work variable and flexible hours, including overtime
• Can work with others in a team setting to deliver high performance results
• Ability to take initiative, and to work with a sense of urgency
• Be cautious that lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20-50 lbs.; and over in certain circumstances of 100 lbs.
• Ability to constantly reach outward, handle and finger objects, stand, and walk; frequently bend, squat, kneel, twist, turn, and sit; and occasionally, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type using a keyboard
