Job summary

Affinity Management Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks and repairs for community facilities in Florida. You will apply basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure spaces are tidy and functional.

The ideal candidate has experience, is reliable with attention to detail, and possesses physical stamina. You must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, and follow safety procedures to protect assets.

Qualifications

• Must have an active driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Experience with drywall repair and basic building maintenance.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Willingness to work in a team and adapt to schedule changes.

Responsibilities

• Paint and perform cleaning activities.
• Repair walls, minor plumbing, and maintain drainage system.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring for issues.
• Install appliances and equipment.
• Update maintenance records daily.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment including ventilation and safety systems.
• Report issues to a facilities or maintenance supervisor.
• Collaborate with team during renovations.

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional.

Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Job Duties:

• Painting
• Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing, filling gaps in walls, minor plumbing and maintain drainage system.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
• Install appliances and equipment
• Updates maintenance records daily
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
• Report to a facilities or maintenance Supervisor for issues

Requirements

• Must have Active Driver's License and clean driving record
• Must know Dry Wall
• To work productively and effectively when faced with stressful situations and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to accept responsibility for work assignments and job duties, and to be held accountable for successful completion
• Follow directions, and to work with minimal supervision
• Apply appropriate safety procedures and equipment to protect Company and customer assets, including personal protective equipment (i.e., back belt, safety glasses)
• Work in non-airconditioned environment where applicable
• Must be able to work variable and flexible hours, including overtime
• Can work with others in a team setting to deliver high performance results
• Ability to take initiative, and to work with a sense of urgency
• Be cautious that lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20-50 lbs.; and over in certain circumstances of 100 lbs.
• Ability to constantly reach outward, handle and finger objects, stand, and walk; frequently bend, squat, kneel, twist, turn, and sit; and occasionally, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type using a keyboard
