Job summary

Watsontown Brick, part of the General Shale family, seeks a Maintenance Technician for our Watsontown, PA facility to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems, support preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

You will perform preventative maintenance on motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyors, troubleshoot issues, fabricate repair parts, install/modifiy equipment, and ensure a safe, clean work environment while documenting activities and

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate forklifts, hoists, and aerial lifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment including motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyors

Watsontown Brick, a trusted brand within the General Shale family and one of North America’s leading producers of brick and sustainable building solutions, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operations at our Watsontown, Pennsylvania commercial brick manufacturing facility.

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This role supports preventative maintenance programs, equipment fabrication, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment including motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyors
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic and testing equipment
• Fabricate repair parts and perform equipment repairs using machine shop tools
