Job summary

Glen-Gery, a leading brick manufacturer, is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Hanley plant in Summerville, PA. You will install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain production equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyors, with hands-on mechanical, welding and fabrication work.

Qualifications include a technical degree (preferred) and 2+ years in an industrial environment. You will read blueprints and perform basic carpentry and math as part of preventive maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of industrial equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors
• Degree from a Technical School or University preferred or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of industrial environment experience
• Knowledge and experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and welding

Glen-Gery, one of the nation’s leading brick manufacturers, is looking for a talented and knowledgeable Maintenance Technicians to join the team at our Hanley plant located in Summerville, PA. This person will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment. This is a hand’s on job, which includes mechanical, welding and fabrication skills, blueprint reading, basic carpentry and math skills. An ideal candidate would also be able to troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on a wide variety of heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
