Job summary

Glen-Gery is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Cheswick, PA plant to install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain production equipment. This hands-on role requires mechanical, welding and fabrication skills, blueprint reading, and basic carpentry.

The ideal candidate will handle heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and perform preventative maintenance. A technical degree or equivalent experience plus 2+ years in an industrial setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree from a technical school or university preferred or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of industrial environment experience

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain production equipment
• Troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on a wide variety of heavy industrial equipment including hydraulics and pneumatics

Glen-Gery, one of the nation’s leading brick manufacturers, is looking for a talented and knowledgeable Maintenance Technicians to join the team at our plant located in Cheswick, PA. This person will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment. This is a hand’s on job, which includes mechanical, welding and fabrication skills, blueprint reading, basic carpentry and math skills. An ideal candidate would also be able to troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on a wide variety of heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
