Goodwill of the Olympics and Rainier Region (GORR) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to upkeep facilities across Washington. You will handle preventive maintenance, work orders, and repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more to support our mission-driven sites.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and improving the condition of Goodwill of the Olympics and Rainier Region (GORR) facilities operating throughout Washington. The Technician is semi-skilled in several trade fields and in addition to performing maintenance projects, the technician completes assigns work orders. The Technician helps to maintain a computerized work order system (Bluefolder), makes decisions on work priorities based on the schedule and direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Manager. Preventive maintenance and building improvements include electrical, automatic entry systems, painting, plumbing, carpentry, refrigeration, and HVAC projects. $20.98 - $22.80 per hour
The Maintenance Technician responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Ability to read and interpret hard data and metrics. Ability to write creatively and articulately with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and average. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra when working on spreadsheets. Ability to create and manage departmental budget.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel and PowerPoint.
Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the Maintenance Technician
Washington State Driver’s License required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear and type. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms.
