Planet Fitness is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to service clubs in the greater Raleigh, NC area. You will install, maintain and repair fitness equipment, and uphold safety regulations while supporting other building systems.

The role requires on-call availability for emergencies, nights and weekends, with travel as necessary and company-provided vehicle. Join a fast-growing fitness chain that values reliability, communication, and hands-on skills.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and other systems.
• Proficiency with tools and common appliances.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be on call for maintenance emergencies, including nights, mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair fitness equipment following safety regulations.
• Maintain painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing across locations.
• Inspect alarm systems and partner with companies to schedule maintenance.
• On-call for maintenance emergencies and travel as needed.
• Travel will be necessary; a valid driver’s license is required; company vehicle provided.
• Reimbursement for travel time and on-call duties.

Planet Fitness is looking for a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to service our clubs around the greater Raleigh, NC area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installing, Maintaining and Repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulations
• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all location
• Inspection of alarm systems
• Partnering with other companies to schedule maintenance as needed
• Ability to be on call for maintenance emergency's
• Available of nights and weekends
• Travel will be necessary meaning a valid driver's license will be needed. Vehicle transportation will be provided by the company
• Reimbursement will also be provided for travel time

Job Position Requirements:

• Basic knowledge about electrical, plumbing and other systems
• Proficiency with tools as well as common appliances and devices
• Ability to lift items weighing 75 pounds
• Maintaining excellent condition of company vehicle
• Strong communication skills
• Must be on call for maintenance emergencies, including nights, early mornings and weekends
