Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to service our clubs around the greater Raleigh, NC area. You will install, maintain and repair fitness equipment, and handle electrical, HVAC and plumbing tasks while adhering to safety regulations.

Travel will be necessary and a valid driver's license is required. Company will provide a vehicle for trips; on-call nights and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to lift items weighing 75 pounds.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be on call for maintenance emergencies, including nights, early mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair fitness equipment safely.
• Uptake and maintain painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all locations.
• Inspect alarm systems.
• Coordinate with external partners to schedule maintenance.
• Be available for maintenance emergencies and travel as needed.

Planet Fitness is looking for a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to service our clubs around the greater Raleigh, NC area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installing, Maintaining and Repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulations
• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all location
• Inspection of alarm systems
• Partnering with other companies to schedule maintenance as needed
• Ability to be on call for maintenance emergency's
• Available of nights and weekends
• Travel will be necessary meaning a valid driver's license will be needed. Vehicle transportation will be provided by the company
• Reimbursement will also be provided for travel time

Job Position Requirements:

• Proficiency with tools as well as common appliances and devices
