What this job involves –

This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on various facility systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. The role involves conducting inspections, handling general interior maintenance, and assisting the operations team in maintaining and repairing building equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, administrative skills, and the ability to work independently.

What is your day to day?

  • Performing preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility systems and equipment
  • Conducting facility inspections and reporting on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations
  • Carrying out general interior maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture
  • Moving office furniture, machinery, and equipment as requested
  • Replacing lighting and ballasts
  • Cleaning HVAC coils and changing filters and belts
  • Completing hazard assessments and maintaining compliance with safety procedures
  • Utilizing CMMS systems to update work order status in real time
  • Escalating problems or issues to customers and managers in a timely manner

Desired experience and technical skills

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb up to 30 ft ladders
  • Comfortable with frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving

Preferred

  • Experience with CMMS systems such as 360 Facility
  • Certifications or licenses related to building maintenance or specific trades
  • Knowledge of state, county, or city ordinances, codes, and laws related to facility maintenance

Estimated total compensation for this position:

58,312.00 – 72,891.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
