Independent Management Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform on-site maintenance tasks across our communities. Responsibilities include completing resident service requests, preventive maintenance, and reconditioning vacant units with painting, basic repairs, and cleaning.

Ideal candidates will maintain property grounds, handle after-hours on-call duties, respond to emergencies, and manage supplies.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented and able to handle resident requests.
• Basic maintenance and repair knowledge across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Able to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Recondition vacant units with painting, basic repairs, and cleaning.
• Maintain property grounds: free of litter, weeds, and overgrowth.
• Perform after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call duties in rotation.
• Respond to resident requests to ensure 24-hour emergency service.
• Monitor inventory and maintenance supplies.
• Report to Site Manager and participate in ongoing maintenance education.
