Independent Management Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our multifamily properties in Detroit, MI. The role focuses on completing resident service requests, preventive maintenance, unit reconditioning, and grounds upkeep to ensure a well-maintained living environment.

You will participate in after-hours on-call rotations, handle 24/7 emergency responses, manage inventory, and assist with training and development opportunities within a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Reconditioning of vacant units including painting, repairs, and cleaning.
• Maintain grounds and ensure cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Respond to 24-hour emergency requests and on-call duties.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Snow removal and salting of roads and walkways as needed.

If you have superior attention to detail with outstanding communications skills and enjoy a challenging fast pace environment, join our team now!Responsibilities:Complete resident service requests and preventive maintenance tasks.Timely reconditioning of vacant units, including painting, basic repairs, and cleaning.Ensure property grounds are well-groomed and free of litter and unsightly garbage or clutter.Ensure property grounds are free of weeds and overgrown vegetation.Perform after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call duties in rotation with other Maintenance personnel.Respond to all resident requests to ensure 24-hour emergency service.Monitor inventory and maintenance supplies, as necessary.Snow removal includes salting main roads, walkways, and parking areas throughout the community.
