Job summary

TalenTier in Vista, CA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our regulated manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently.

This role blends facility maintenance with production equipment support, covering HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, cleanrooms and critical utilities. The position requires hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of facilities or industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or other regulated environments is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or associate degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, doors, and building systems.
• Support production and manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor cleanrooms, purified water systems, and temperature-controlled areas.
• Respond to equipment and facility breakdowns and help minimize downtime.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Support equipment setup, changeovers, calibration, and validation activities.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and service vendors when needed.
• Follow GMP, FDA, ISO, OSHA, and site safety requirements.
• Help identify recurring equipment issues and improve reliability.
