Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in New York is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities safe, clean, and well‑maintained. You will help managers ensure smooth operations and fast service for customers. No experience? No problem—we’ll teach you!

This is a customer‑facing role with duties across cleaning, maintenance, and basic repairs. You’ll work with HVAC, fuel systems, refrigeration, and other equipment, with opportunities for advancement and paid training.

Qualifications

• No experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Comfortable working in a retail/facility environment with customers.

Responsibilities

• Customer-facing duties including assisting customers and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist store, restaurant, and truck care departments with cleaning, maintenance, stocking, and customer service needs.
• Use of tools and equipment to clean and maintain facility operations (HVAC systems, fuel systems, service trucks, refrigeration, etc.).
• Cross‑training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Follow safety policies and procedures to protect customers and team members.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions:

• This is a customer-facing position with general customer service duties including, but not limited to, providing assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Assisting store, restaurant, and truck care departments with general cleaning, maintenance, stocking, and customer service needs.
• Use of various tools and equipment to clean and maintain the overall facility operations to include, but not limited to, equipment repair and maintenance (HVAC systems, fuel systems, service trucks, refrigeration systems, etc.), pressure washing, plumbing repair, site inspections, and other assigned duties.
• Additional duties could include cross‑training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
