Job summary

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities safe, clean, and well-maintained while supporting store and truck care teams. No experience? We will teach you!

You will handle cleaning, basic repairs, inspections, and equipment operation, with opportunities to cross-train and grow within the company. OSHA-style safety practices are emphasized across shifts.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role with focus on service and help desk.
• Assist store, restaurant, and truck care with cleaning, maintenance and stock.
• Use of tools and equipment to clean and maintain facility operations (HVAC, fuel systems, service trucks, refrigeration).
• Cross-training in other departments is possible.
• Always prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per company policies.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and resolve issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assist multiple departments with cleaning, maintenance and customer service needs.
• Operate and maintain facility equipment and systems as directed.
• Support cross-training in Store, Restaurant, and Facility areas.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.

Job Functions:

• This is a customer-facing position with general customer service duties including, but not limited to, providing assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Assisting store, restaurant, and truck care departments with general cleaning, maintenance, stocking, and customer service needs.
• Use of various tools and equipment to clean and maintain the overall facility operations to include, but not limited to, equipment repair and maintenance (HVAC systems, fuel systems, service trucks, refrigeration systems, etc.), pressure washing, plumbing repair, site inspections, and other assigned duties.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
